How Karsiyah Beauty began

Rooted in heritage. Led by Intention.

Karsiyah Beauty was founded by Levina and her mother, inspired by family, memory, and tradition.

After moving to Australia at a young age, Levina turned to skincare rituals as a way to stay connected to her Indonesian roots.

As these personal rituals took shape, the wider beauty industry was shifting in the opposite direction. In response, we were drawn back to first principles - care that was slower, more intentional, and rooted in purpose rather than performance.

Karsiyah Beauty is named in honour of Levina’s grandmother, whose rice-based beauty ritual was lovingly passed down through generations. This practice now forms the heart of our brand, thoughtfully adapting tradition for modern life while preserving its essence.
